For four days six women from New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Massachusetts gathered to invite the imagination out to play. Each day flowed like a stream - clay to yoga to painting, an afternoon siesta and then back for an interactive project in the evening.
The surrounding waters, the skies and local sights and sounds of osprey, towhees and herons, supported our explorations as did the house itself. Day by day, Snowdon became the altar upon which we draped our treasures - found shells, paintings, clay sculptures, a mandala mural and finally our masks. We celebrated over wonderful meals, walks on the beach and wine tasting at the local vineyard.
Over and over the creative process challenged us to let go of old taboos, take risks and seize every opportunity to enjoy the process of invention for its own sake.
